Gougere

A choux pastry ring with a mushroomy mixture in the centre. The pastry should be made last so that it doesn't sink. Don't follow order of recipe! Very tasty

Hot and Fragrant Trout

We all loved this recipe but it was neither hot nor fragrant. The coconut rice was definately a winner. Andy said he would make a sauce from the stuffing if he did it again

Caremelised Leek and Bacon Pilaff

Tasted delicious, bacon cooked seperately to make sure it was crunchy.

chicken vindaloo is fantastic , we've had it before and always make the paste fresh rather than use a jar.
